Everything freezes...

Last weekend I got outside to get some macro shots of things
frozen by the chilly weather. Turned out it wasn't going to be
as easy as I thougt coz it was hard to keep a steady hand while shivering like hell :D

Anyway I guess some photos turned out not too bad...

Got a new lens today :)

It's a 90mm f2.8 1:1 macro by tamron
which is a really amazing lens...
Since I started shooting I always
wanted a macro lens... so now finally got one :)

New Video: 4 pieces of wood

A few weeks ago my friend Stev who is a total martial arts maniac
and basically works out day and night had this spontaneous idea to
try breaking three pieces of wood (each 4cm / 1,57) with his hand...

I thought I defintely have to get this filmed... and so i did.
And now after some time editing and compositing it... it's now finally finished!

Enjoy... and find out why it's called 4 pieces of wood... ;)

Oh how lovely the sun set...

Quite nice sunset today as the sky was totally clear
and I could get some close-up shots of the sun :)

Album Cover Timo Schön

I was asked by local minmal artist and good friend Timo Schön to shoot
the photos for the cover of his upcoming album "Ich so wie Du" and also
design the cover itself. I didn't have to consider it much coz he had great ideas
and it's always fun shooting with that dork :P

It turned out to be a really great shoot with perfect results in little time
and so I am in every way proud of myself :)

For the back cover he wanted me to use one of my latest hdrs
in a black & white conversion which I really appreciated and
which also turned out just fine :)
